You’ve probably heard the stories…..the place is haunted etc etc. Well, I cant say anything about that, but it is going to become one of the most popular wedding venues on the Treasure Coast almost immediately once it opens this fall (Sched for October). About 35 local wedding vendors joined us for a very cool night out at Indian Riverside Park, which is adjacent to the Mansion, and Jeff Hughes the park manager was kind enough to give us the full tour of the new facility. Build on an ancient Indian midden, the Mansion itself sits high above the waters of the Indian River as you can see in the photo. Currently under a massive renovation, it will soon be restored to its former glory. After the tour, everyone had a chance to network, and enjoy getting to know all the local wedding professionals. The event was hosted by Treasure Coast Brides, and Events by Gitana, in an effort to bring the wedding community closer together to help raise the level of professionalism in the area. Brides interested in having their event at the Mansion should contact Jeff Hughes at the Indian Riverside Park office for more information at 772-692-7501, although at this time I dont believe exact pricing and availability has been established yet. A special thanks goes out to all the local vendors who attended and made it a very special night, and to Harry G from the Entertainment Connections Premier DJ’s for going way above the call of duty and providing a great evening of fun and entertainment for us all. Pop Culture provided the cash bar and Tr. Coast Brides bought the first round for everyone, A Piece of Cake provided the dessert (of course), and Sunny Day Cafe provided the appetizers for everyone’s enjoyment.

These vendors are featured in the special National issue of the Knot called Best of Weddings which is on sale now. Very few vendors from the Treasure Coast or Palm Beaches received this distinction, so it is one well earned indeed.

PSL Bridal Show a great success

Hey everyone,

The first ever bridal show at the new PSL Civic Center was a great success. There were lots of brides, and the room is so big that everyone had ample room to move about and actually communicate with all the prospective brides. It was a very nice change from the usual cramped feeling you get at bridal shows. The one thing missing was food…..surely next time one of the local caterers will do a demo of their offerings as well. Even the required caterer at the Civic Center missed the opportunity to “show off” their offerings to all the brides and families. Thanks to Harry G, for putting on such a great show, and the best part for all of our advertisers is that every bride in there got a copy of your ads too!!

2009 heats up for TC Brides

Hey everyone, the magazine is on its way as we speak, the website continues to grow by leaps and bounds in terms of its traffic, which means that more and more leads will be out there for all of you!! Thank you to all of you who have already added a link back to us on your sites, and please, all the rest of you do the same, as more traffic means more leads for all of you!! We also just did some SEO (search engine optimization) that is already paying dividends with more and more hits coming from Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. Check back here often to see the latest, and watch for next weeks get together for all of the vendors too!!

New TCB advertising opportunity

Well its been 3+ years now for Treasure Coast Brides. Wow!! This website (actually its predecessor) has up until now been exclusively for those advertisers in the Magazine only. However, as more and more brides are doing their searching via the web, we are now expanding our site to include vendors who would prefer to only be listed on the web. Priority listings will be set aside for all print advertisers, and then non print advertisers will show after those who have committed to the magazine. We feel that by accommodating each set of advertisers, it will be the brides in the area who will benifit in the long run, as they will get to see a wider variety in each category. TCB still reserves the right to not include any vendor which it feels does not meet industry standards, as again this is in the best interest of our brides. It will be our mission to include all the local vendors who also make “the best interest” of the brides their number one goal. While it is a “job” for all of us, it is every brides “biggest day”. Keeping that in mind goes a long way toward customer satisfaction.
